Passlogix on Wednesday shipped an updated edition of its flagship single sign-on software for enterprises, v-GO SSO 5.0.
The new version sports enhanced support for sign-on to Windows Telnet and Java applications and applets, said the New York-based identity vendor. It also adds support for managing user credentials and data for Oracle's, IBM's, Critical Path's, and OpenLDAP directories, as well as support for Oracle, IBM's DB2, and Microsoft's SQL Server databases.
Other improvements include additional security measures, such as automatic detection of any attempt to tamper with v-GO SSO's settings or the stored credential data, the ability of administrators to prevent local system caching of sign-on information (such systems which may be the target of attacks and phishing scams), and automatic enforcement of periodic password changes for applications that don't offer the feature.
v-GO SSO 5.0 is available now.
