Business-intelligence software maker Informatica Corp. announced Friday an agreement to purchase privately held mainframedata integrator Striva Corporation.
For the past two years, Informatica has offered OEM versions of Striva mainframe data-integration services, including high-speed bulk data movement and real-time change capture, Informatica said. Under the OEM arrangement, Striva's products had been branded as part of Informatica's PowerConnect line.
The cash and stock transaction is estimated to be worth $62 million.
