A Microsoft (stock: MSFT) executive told a Comdex Spring 2000 audience Tuesday that the company has sold over 1.5 million licenses of Windows 2000 Professional, Server, and Advanced Server in the two months since the long-awaited operating system became available. That rate is four times faster than Windows NT 4.0, said Microsoft, which reports quarterly earnings later this week.
