Office equipment maker Ricoh is introducing a new series of image scanner.
Image Scanner Series IS760 and IS760D are flatbed color scanners with a 200-page document feeder and enhanced speed and reliability, the company said Wednesday..
The IS760D scanner's One Pass Duplex Scanning allows simultaneous copying of both sides of a document, and processes 62 images per minute color; 122 images per minute black and white.
Both feature TWAIN and ISIS drivers. Both allow users to combine up to four pages of documents into one image. QuickScan capture software, included, utilizes an ISIS driver to convert scanned images into content that can be integrated into TIFF, JPEG and Bitmap formats. SCSI-3 and USB 2.0 connections facilitate installation.
Scan-to-E-mail, Folder Print and Network TWAIN maximize functionality via an optional network interface box. An optional Image Processing Unit enables operation of auto photo/letter function, which automatically adjusts for text and photos, saving at appropriate image quality.
Suggested retail price is $5,795 for the IS760; $6,795 for the IS760D
