Toronto WordPress website developer Kobayashi Online is a Silver Sponsor of the city's annual "unconference" on everything WordPress

TORONTO, Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Toronto-based WordPress development and Web design agency Kobayashi Online has announced it is a Silver Sponsor of WordCamp Toronto, the city's "unconference" covering everything to do with the world's most popular blogging platform and Content Management System.

Kobayashi Online develops websites using the WordPress platform, which is a customizable, open-source application that makes website maintenance simple and adding blog posts and updates easy without any specialty software or technical know-how.

WordCamp Toronto, September 29-30, 2012, is a volunteer-run event that brings together the diverse Toronto community including WordPress designers, developers, and users. Attendees come to learn more about the platform through a variety of workshops and seminars, and meet other members of the WordPress community through networking.

"We use WordPress day-in day-out to create beautiful and functional websites, and now we have a chance to give back to the WordPress community through our sponsorship of WordCamp Toronto," said Kobayashi Online founder and president Brent Kobayashi. "We really believe in WordCamp and we think our contribution will help local WordPress designers, developers and bloggers, as well as those new to WordPress."

Also in support of WordCamp Toronto, the employees of Kobayashi Online are offering their experience and expertise to attendees with their participation at the volunteer-run WordCamp Happiness Bar. The Happiness Bar is an informal place where attendees can get answers to their WordCamp questions, and get personalized help with their particular issues.

"The Happiness Bar gives us an opportunity to help people out with their website, and hopefully our enthusiasm for websites and WordPress in particular will rub off on them," said Kobayashi Online project manager Daveed Flexer. "As the Internet grows and changes, we're really interested in how people build their online presence, and listening to what people want helps us stay on top of trends."

Also in support of WordCamp Toronto, Kobayashi Online is giving away five tickets to the event in an online draw. To enter, visit the following link:
