A-Check representatives said RAPID I-9 dramatically reduces the inconveniences of traditional paper-based employment eligibility verification, eliminates errors associated with confirming an employee's work eligibility status, and keeps employers compliant with federal employment regulations.

How does it work? Once an employer completes the background check on A-Check's online portal, A-Check Direct, the option to process the I-9 Form appears. With a single click, the system pre-populates the I-9 Form and an invitation is e-mailed to the applicant. The applicant clicks the link provided in the invitation e-mail, completes the form and e-signs the document. The employer is notified the applicant has completed their part, reviews the document online and attests to reviewing acceptable right to work documents. The employer may upload and attach copies of supporting documentation.

Once the Electronic I-9 is completed, the employer may request an E-Verify query with a single click. Data previously captured is used to submit a request to the E-Verify system, providing immediate confirmation of the applicant's eligibility to work. A-Check's system tracks the status of requests and notifies the employer of status changes or activity with the request.
