LAS VEGAS, April 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- NAB SHOW 2013 - Bella Corporation today announced that it is expanding KillerKeys into a family of products. The new products are KillerKeys Pro and a companion KillerKeys Pro iPad App, KillerKeys Express for iPad and KillerKeys VR.
KillerKeys Pro offers an all-inclusive feature set, combining the features of all other versions of KillerKeys as well as offering additional features and functionality to make it the most powerful version of KillerKeys available. With KillerKeys Pro there are multiple ways and places to display and interact with your shortcuts: on the VR Keyboard, on the iPad or on Shortcut Palettes that float over your application.
KillerKeys Pro iPad App
The free companion iPad App for KillerKeys Pro connects wirelessly to the desktop computer providing complete control from the iPad. Working in unison with KillerKeys Pro, the iPad App instantly displays the shortcuts for practically any application right on the iPad, providing shortcuts right at your fingertips. Shortcuts can be dragged and dropped into Workspaces so you can quickly swipe to shortcuts that you use most frequently. Besides the Workspace view, the App also includes a custom keyboard with a VR mode. In the VR mode, color-coded shortcuts are displayed on each key of the virtual keyboard. To further enhance productivity, the KillerKeys iPad App also provides customizable widgets including a track pad with pinch-to-zoom control, application launcher, volume and zoom controls, a number pad as well as a multimedia widget with jog wheel. The KillerKeys Pro iPad App will be free from the iTunes App Store.
The KillerKeys VR application is available for both Mac and Windows computers and provides a virtual on-screen keyboard that shows color-coded shortcuts displayed on each key of the virtual keyboard. The keyboard is interactive, so pressing either a single modifier or a combination of modifiers will change the shortcuts displayed on the keyboard. A powerful search feature is built in and the entire keyboard can be sized to fit your needs, can switch between regular and extended keyboard modes and you can even switch the layout from a standard QWERTY layout to an AZERTY layout.
Using a wireless connection to your Windows or Mac computer, KillerKeys Express for iPad gives you complete control over your computer, showing shortcuts for the application you are working in on your computer on a VR (Virtual) Keyboard on the iPad App. As with the KillerKeys Pro iPad App, the Express version includes a track pad with pinch-to-zoom control, application launcher, volume and zoom controls, as well as a multimedia widget with jog wheel.
With KillerKeys, you no longer have to remember what particular keyboard shortcuts works in which application, as KillerKeys always displays the proper shortcuts in a unified interface regardless of which application you are using. KillerKeys supports keyboard shortcuts for markets ranging from graphics, design, video and engineering to accounting and finance.
