A U.S. technology company is sponsoring a Brains@War contest in India to search for top IT talent.
The competition, scheduled through March, is open to engineering and computer students in Kerala. It is part of broader plans to recruit up to 27,000 employees in the next few years and more than 70 percent will be recent graduates, the company (formerly US Software) announced during a news conference.
The final 100 students will be mentored by professional technology experts and have the chance to work for US Technology Resources. Cash prizes will also be awarded, according to Indian media reports.
