New Mazda in San Antonio to Reach Ingram Park Nissan Inventory
SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The solid Nissan Frontier is gearing up for some changes in its next model year. A mid-size pick-up, the Frontier has missed out on some of the improvements to fuel economy and efficiency as seen in larger trucks in the auto industry. In the 2013 model, however, it should be gaining another 2 mpgs to its overall economy. San Antonio Nissan dealer, Ingram Park Nissan, looks to the future for a more economical and environmentally conscious pickup.
The current 2012 Nissan Frontier is outfitted with either a 4.0-liter V6 261-horsepower engine or a more efficient 2.5-liter 152-horsepower engine. In the 2013 model drivers can expect reduced engine friction and a more aerodynamic exterior, which is where the gain in fuel economy will come from. A cab and bed seal will also be added for a smoother ride and efficient performance.
Maintaining its current design aesthetic, the 2013 Nissan Frontier won't appear much different than the 2012 model. Athletic styling reflects the Frontier's sporty capability. Whether drivers need more space for passengers or cargo, the Frontier's interior and truck bed are easily customizable and versatile. Ample under-seat storage is ideal for smaller camping gear, first aid kits, or emergency items.
Safety still remains the Frontier's top priority in the 2013 model. The current Frontier is packed with active safety features like the Nissan Advanced Bag System, advanced seat belts, and Active Head Restraints. Anti-lock brakes, Electronic Brake force Distribution, and Vehicle Dynamic Control all make the Frontier's solid ride more secure. Nissan strives to bring stability and agility to its drivers under any circumstance.
