CHESTERFIELD, Mo., Dec. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- BizLibrary, the leader in innovative employee training for small and mid-sized businesses, won a coveted Brandon Hall Gold Award for Excellence in the Best Advance in Learning Management Technology for External Training category. Brandon Hall announced BizLibrary's win on December 19, 2012.
"To win the gold award is a thrilling accomplishment," said BizLibrary President and CEO Dean Pichee. "The Brandon Hall Excellence in Technology Gold Award truly represents the best in the business. We've always dedicated ourselves to producing an innovative and quality product for our clients. For Brandon Hall to recognize that, and to place our learning management technology at the top, helps explain why we are the leading online training solution provider for small and mid-sized companies."
BizLibrary was chosen to receive the gold award by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group Sr. Analysts and Executive Leadership.
"It is our honor to recognize this year's award winners, who exemplify the commitment to innovation and excellence that drives growth and over---the---top business results," said Mike Cooke, Chief Executive Officer of Brandon Hall Group, Inc.
BizLibrary overhauled its Learning Management System, CompanyCollege, earlier this year. The LMS now features courses that are mobile friendly, with a streamlined homepage, and advanced catalog. The Streaming Video Library also includes social elements like user-generated comments, ratings and allows users to recommend courses to each other.
"We've worked very hard this year to make updates that put BizLibrary at the top of the learning management field," said BizLibrary Chief Technology Officer Les Wight. "We're thrilled Brandon Hall honored us for our advances in training technology, and we are even more excited about our plans for even more advances and ongoing improvements we have planned for 2013."
