(Pink Sheets: ANTS; www.ants.com), an Advanced Software Technology product company, announced today that the Board of Directors of the Company has approved a new share buyback program through open market trading. As the first step of the buyback program, the Board authorized the Company to buy back up to 40 million of its common shares in the open market in 2012.  ANTs Software, Inc. has announced this large first step of the buyback plan to increase the value to the shareholders and to tighten up ANTs free trading float as all shares repurchased under the program will be held internally by ANTs.
