VIENNA, Va., Jan. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading Technology and Systems Integrator MicroTech has been selected as one of only four awardees of the Army Private Cloud (APC2) Mobile Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Program Executive Office, Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS). The $250 Million Army Private Cloud contract will allow the Army to reduce costs through server consolidation and updating and optimizing IT with fixed and containerized data centers. This is the Army's first cloud computing contract.
