The site improves 3G wireless coverage in the Paia area along Paia Bay, Anohou Street, Ale Place and Nonohe Place. The company's ongoing network investment in Hawai'i now totals more than $254 million, including $40 million in 2010. Since the company was formed, Verizon Wireless has invested more than $65 billion - $5.7 billion on average every year - to increase the coverage and capacity of its premier nationwide network and to add new services. The network upgrade is part of the company's ongoing investment to keep improving and strengthening the nation's largest and most reliable 3G wireless network.
