This site improves 3G wireless coverage and capacity along Kaunanano Road, Paauilo Mauka Road, Kalopa Lower Road, and Highway 19 at mile marker 34. Since being founded in 2000, Verizon Wireless has invested more than $6.5 billion in its California network. Nationally, the company has invested more than $65 billion over that same period to increase the coverage and capacity of its network, and to add new services. The network upgrade is part of the company's ongoing investment to keep improving and strengthening the nation's largest and most reliable 3G wireless network.
