The event sold out again and attracted the largest crowds ever, with more than 1,600 attendees – 1,300 of them IT service providers, VARs and MSPs – and 61 exhibiting and/or sponsoring vendors. The event is a hub for the entire channel community in addition to ConnectWise partners. IT Nation 2011 was accompanied by eight pre-conference events hosted by other vendors, including LabTech Automation Nation, HTG Peer Groups annual meeting, Quosal Quotation Nation, Level Platforms Next Level Summit, ChannelCloud Boot Camp, CharTec Unherd of Conference, Quotewerks Boot Camp and Service Leadership Operational Maturity. IT Nation 2011 provided channel partners, vendors and IT solution providers the opportunity to learn, network and collaborate with peers through a solutions pavilion, nearly 100 breakout sessions and new Hands-On Labs. Attendees discovered the latest products and services and go-to-market strategies to improve their businesses today and well into the future. In post-conference surveys, an impressive majority of attendees indicated the event exceeded their expectations and 96 percent would likely recommend the event to fellow peers. Additionally, 40 percent of attendees were IT Nation first-timers. "I thought it was a brilliantly run, professional conference," said Nick Moran, managing director of Melbourne-based Evolve IT.
