Brainware Closes $1.3 Million Deal to Deliver Efficiency, Control, Productivity

ASHBURN, Va., Nov. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Brainware, Inc., the market share leader for intelligent data capture, announced today that a U.S.-based global electronics manufacturer, supply chain services provider and Fortune 500 company has selected Brainware Distiller for increased efficiency, productivity and control in accounts payable processing.  The customer will leverage Distiller's powerful technology to fully automate its end-to-end accounts payable process.  This implementation supplements a move of accounts payable operations to the global shared services model for greater process efficiency.

Brainware is pleased that in the last year it has closed 15 transactions that exceed $750,000, of which 10 exceed $1 million.  These sales represent clients across a broad range of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, entertainment, energy, finance and more.

"Brainware Distiller commands a premium because no other competitor can approach Distiller's superior level of automation and operational transformation observed in accounts payable, accounts receivable, mailroom processing and more," said Carl Mergele, Chief Executive Officer at Brainware.  "By providing the highest levels of field and line-item data extraction available, as well as optimal visibility throughout the process, our software transforms the back office into a source of profit for these businesses.  Headcount can be shifted to more value-added functions, management is empowered to take a more strategic approach to finance, and the level of responsiveness—towards both suppliers and customers—is raised to world-class levels."
