BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Campus Management Corp., a leading provider of enterprise software products and services for educational institutions, has formed a collaborative partnership with Moodlerooms to establish integration between their company's respective product offerings. The integration of Campus Management's CampusVue® Student, a fully unified academic and administrative platform designed for today's service-oriented institutions, and Moodlerooms' joule®, an enterprise e-Learning platform based on Moodle, will enable colleges and universities to adopt more comprehensive and fully-supported campus solutions.

The CampusVue Student integration with joule will be based on the Learning Information Services (LIS) 2.0 specification, which defines how systems manage the exchange of data pertaining to people, groups, memberships, courses and outcomes within the context of learning.

Campus Management and Moodlerooms will produce a standards-based integration between the CampusVue Student administrative and academic applications, and the joule e-Learning platform. CampusVue Student is currently used by 78 percent of the largest U.S.-based career and online colleges, in addition to other leading traditional 4-year, graduate and post-doctoral universities.  Moodlerooms' turnkey SaaS solution for Moodle is leveraged by more than 400 higher education institutions across the globe.

"Our partnership with Moodlerooms demonstrates our commitment to offer colleges and universities with not only the best options for learning management, but delivering more meaningful integration with third party platforms," said Timothy S. Gilbert, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Campus Management.  "This partnership is an exciting next step, aligning with a progressive leader like Moodlerooms."

"Developing standards-based integration to the most commonly used applications is fundamental to our business," says Moodlerooms vice president of corporate development, Joe McAvoy.
