ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Specialized news and information publisher BNA has received a Best Use of Technology Award from the Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) for its Labor & Employment Resource Center, an expansive content portfolio that includes labor and employment news, case law, reference materials, authored materials, video updates, commentary by thought leaders, and more. The Labor & Employment Resource Center, which launched in fall of 2010, was the first-of-its-kind in the legal publishing industry.
The resource center utilizes BNA's content for labor and employment and includes daily and weekly news alerts, with breaking news released during the business day; case law and other reference content; a variety of authored materials; video updates; and commentary by thought leaders. The content covers every aspect of labor and employment law, with the goal of helping customers access the critical information and expert analysis they need each day to work more productively.
"BNA is proud to have been recognized by the ACLEA for its award of outstanding achievement in the technology category," said Michael Eisenstein, Vice President and Group Publisher of BNA's Legal & Business Publishing Group. "We have been very pleased with customer response to the resource centers and will continue to launch them in additional practice areas to show the benefit of the product's integrated solution."
Since the launch of the Labor & Employment Resource Center, BNA has launched six additional Resource Centers, in the areas of Intellectual Property Law, Human Resources & Payroll, Telecommunications Law, Internet Law, Benefits Practice, and Health Care Law.
These Resource Centers offer BNA customers a new platform with access to content by topic, with enhanced search tools providing instant access to relevant information.
