New site features scientific reviews of home washers and dryers.
BOSTON, June 16, 2011 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Reviewed.com today announced the launch of WasherDryerInfo.com, the network's second home appliance reviews site. WasherDryerInfo.com features Reviewed.com's brand of scientific, in-depth, comprehensive product reviews applied to home washers and dryers. The site features analysis of energy and water efficiency, stain removal performance and clothing wear and tear.
"Rising energy prices are hitting consumers' pocketbooks. WasherDryerInfo.com is empowering consumers with information that will help them cut down on their per load water and energy costs," stated Robin Liss, publisher of Reviewed.com. "We believe there is a need on the web for free, unbiased, scientific, hands-on home and kitchen appliance reviews and we're very excited to help consumers cut through the hype to find the right appliance for their needs."
Following May's successful launch of RefrigeratorInfo.com, WasherDryerInfo.com adds to the expanding Reviewed.com portfolio of sites designed to help consumers with unbiased reviews guiding their shopping choices. WasherDryerInfo.com's reviews are produced in the company's recently expanded 5,000-square-foot testing facilities. WasherDryerInfo.com follows the company's strict ethics policy and all products reviewed on the site are tested by expert review staff.
The new website is being launched in conjunction with USA TODAY. Thursday's newspaper will feature a guide to picking the right washer and dryer, written by the Reviewed.com editorial staff. The site will be promoted across USATODAY.com and other Gannett properties.
Founded in 1997, Reviewed.com was acquired by USA TODAY in early 2011. Reviewed.com provides market-leading, comprehensive reviews in multiple categories. Each site features standardized, lab-tested, scientific reviews and comparison tools that empower consumers with all the information they need before making a purchase. Reviewed.com conducts its testing in dedicated facilities that feature lab quality testing equipment.
