Imperium to Furnish Unique Global Survey Respondent ID to Verity Clients

This Verity ID provides cross-company insight into respondent participation and behavior
WESTPORT, Conn., April 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Imperium®, a leading technology development firm that specializes in data quality solutions for the market research industry, announces an upgrade to its Verity® product offering. Verity clients will now receive a unique global survey respondent ID for validated respondents. This Verity ID, or VID™, will facilitate insight into overall survey participation.
Verity is used by many of the industry's largest and most well-respected online panel companies and market research firms to validate survey respondents' self-reported information. This validation is a key component of market research data quality programs, and can be used to ensure data quality by validating consumer information and combating fraud. Verity can be used for online and offline survey respondent validation.
Clients will be furnished with a VID for each Verity validated survey participant. The VID can be used to gain insight into overall survey participation, providing a better sense of the individual's behavior, and to understand the impact that belonging to multiple panels has on response, and ultimately data quality.

Verity+ enables Verity clients to obtain up to twelve points of demographic data for validated individuals. This reported information includes; age, marital status, occupation, the presence of children in household, education, ethnicity, gender, household income, home market value, home ownership, length in residence, and political affiliation. Verity+ works hand in hand with Verity technology, which compares self-reported data against a series of databases to validate the accuracy of reported.
