Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center goes live on Holon's Medication Management Solution
ATLANTA, Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Holon, the new standard for healthcare interoperability, today announced the go-live of Holon's COEP (Central Order Entry Pharmacy) Medication Order Management solution at all Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center (GHS) facilities.

GHS began its search for a new solution, designed around their processes, about 24 months ago. Their minimum requirement was to be able to match the functionality they had with their current medication management vendor and then do it better.

"We are undertaking a critical project to implement Siemen's Sorian across our organization, including CPOE. We believe the CPOE medication ordering system will be improved by Holon. Not only will it integrate with Siemen's Med Administration Check (MAC) system, but it will continue to facilitate order viewing, follow-up and routing," added Capps.
