MARIETTA, Ga., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is hosting a media event with U.S. Customs and Border Protection on Wednesday, Oct. 27, as part of the 23rd annual P-3 International Operators Support Conference (IOSC) being held here. The newly re-winged and updated P-3C Orion is one of CBP's most important resources in its mission to interdict illegal drug and other contraband, prevent acts of terrorism and prohibit the unlawful movement of people into the United States. In 2009, the P-3 missions alone accounted for the capture of more than $3.2 billion of illegal drugs entering the U.S.
