The contest runs until October 11, 2010 and can be completed in three easy steps:

• Enter your information online and designate a school or educational institution.

• Complete an online template that describes your idea, the benefits, and how you'll make the plan great.

• Upload your final plan using a Microsoft Office 2010 or Microsoft Office Mac 2008 application, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint or OneNote. Entrants who do not have Microsoft Office 2010 or Microsoft Office Mac 2008 will be able to download a free trial version for a PC or a MAC.

The winning entry will be announced in early December and one $25,000 grand prize will be awarded, with a $5,000 cash prize going to the individual who submitted the winning entry and $20,000 to the educational institution that they selected.
