JINAN, China, July 30 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Jinan Yinquan Technology (Yinquan), the wholly-owned subsidiary of China VoIP & Digital Telecom (OTC Bulletin Board: CVDT), today announced that it has successfully won the bid for the virtualization project of the Lixia District Government of Jinan City ("the Government"). The Government is responsible for all the administrative affairs of Lixia District of Jinan City, the capital city of Shandong Province.

The Government recently accepted the integrated virtualization solution provided by Yinquan to improve its servers' utilization rates and reduce purchasing costs and administrative expenses. The Government also selected Yinquan to provide after-sale services during its virtualization system operations.

The Government selected Yinquan for the virtualization project over two other solution providers. One of the bidders is an internationally known server provider. Mr. Kunwu Li, President and CEO of China VoIP & Digital Telecom, was very pleased with the successful bid. He said, "Yinquan's superior technology, large implementation capacity, high-quality service and excellent performance-to-price ratio are the main reasons our solution was the winning bid." About Virtualization Technology

Virtualization is a proven software technology that is rapidly transforming the IT landscape and fundamentally changing the way people compute.

Today's powerful x86 computer hardware was originally designed to run only a single operating system and a single application, but virtualization breaks that boundary, making it possible to run multiple operating systems and multiple applications on the same computer at the same time, increasing the utilization and flexibility of hardware.

Virtualization is a technology that can benefit anyone who uses a computer, from IT professionals and Mac enthusiasts to commercial businesses and government organizations. Millions of people around the world use virtualization to save time, money and energy while achieving more with the computer hardware they already own.
