Ezenia! Inc. Secures Multi-Year Contract with United States Air Force

NASHUA, N.H., July 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ezenia! Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: EZEN), a leading market provider of real-time collaboration solutions for corporate and government networks and eBusiness, has received a new multi-year order from the United States Air Force, totaling approximately $1M in licensing royalties for the Ezenia! flagship product line, InfoWorkSpace.

The contract is in addition to the renewal Ezenia! received earlier this year and allows for expanded support of Air Force Warfighters.  It provides additional InfoWorkSpace suite licenses to be employed within the Combatant Commands Air, Space and Coalition Air Operation Centers (AOC) and supports six active duty Air Force and Air National Guard (ANG) sites throughout the world.  "Further illustrating the Warfighters' trust in Ezenia!'s secure, real-time collaboration suite, the contract clearly reflects the Air Force's long-term confidence in Ezenia!," commented Keith Baron, Vice President of Customer Assistance & Field Support.  

The addition of the United States African Command's (USAFRICOM) Air Operation Center, positions InfoWorkSpace in all combatant commands.  Following installation in the 102nd AOG in Cape Cod, MA, 103rd AOG in East Granby, CN, 110th AOG in Battle Creek, MI, and 183rd AOG in Springfield, IL, InfoWorkSpace will be supporting almost double its current number of Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve sites.  "When used in concert with the earlier licenses, this increase will support more than 50,000 Warfighters per day, or 16,800 per shift.  From small meetings to large scale multimedia briefings, InfoWorkSpace meets secure communication needs at differing levels organization wide," further noted Mr. Baron.
