KNOXVILLE, Md., July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- has unveiled its latest kiosk offering today: a unique, industrial-quality iPad enclosure based on their popular Exquisite family of professional kiosk and digital sign enclosures.

The iPad enclosure was created by design consultant Jer Schweickart and BeyondKiosks' Mike James specifically for the iPad's distinct feature set:

  • The enclosure features a radio-transparent, heavy-duty plastic body. All Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G radio frequencies are totally unimpeded.
  • The front bezel restricts the use of the iPad's Home button, so users cannot escape from the kiosk application.
  • The iPad's power and volume buttons can be accessed by the technician without disassembling the enclosure.
  • The iPad's headset jack and data connector are accessible for incorporating audio systems and data communications.
  • The enclosure uses a standard 100mm VESA mounting system and can be used with hundreds of off-the-shelf mounting systems, in both landscape and portrait modes.
