REALTORS(R) Use Mobile Real Estate Apps to Better Serve Clients
Jun 28, 2010 (07:06 PM EDT)
SAN JOSE, Calif., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- REALTORS® are once again embracing new technology to provide top quality service for clients – this time it's the mobile apps.
As smartphones gain in popularity, mobile apps are catching on in real estate. They run the gamut from basic productivity tools to sophisticated property search and market solutions.
Mobile search of the MLS has become a must for many SCCAOR REALTORS®. Software tools like Top Producer Mobility and Real Estate Success Tracker, which have the functionality of a real estate suite, are also commonly found on their smartphones.
Apps that perform one of the following tasks are popular among SCCAOR REALTORS®: creating a multimedia recap of a showing tour, helping the seller update buyers' comments on the listing, providing real estate investment analysis, converting speech to text, or helping organize customer and property information.
"Our REALTOR® members, serving the tech-heavy Santa Clara County, have advocated for and embraced the technology innovation that is transforming the real estate industry," said Karl Lee, president of the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS®. "Mobile apps give us another opportunity to make the buying or selling experience more efficient and convenient for our clients."
