Campus Management's Chief Marketing Officer Receives CMO of the Year Award

Award Recognizes Senior Marketing Executives for Excellence in Their Field

BOCA RATON, Fla., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Campus Management Corp. announced today that Timothy S. Gilbert is the recipient of The Chief Marketing Officer Institute's 2010 CMO of the Year award.  The CMO Institute created the award to recognize Chief Marketing Officers who demonstrate outstanding leadership across various disciplines of the marketing field during the prior year.  

Nominees were evaluated across several categories of performance, including: market orientation and customer intimacy, accountability for results, commitment to innovation, and overall contribution to the success of their companies. Gilbert was selected as CMO of the Year in the category of small- to mid-sized organizations with revenues less than $250 million, based on detailed information about his achievements, which were reviewed by a distinguished panel of judges.  This year's judges included: Jamie Cornell, CMO of Prudential Retirement; Dennis Dunlap, CEO of American Marketing Association; Tom Steenburgh, Associate Professor of Marketing at Harvard Business School; and Andrew Varga, CMO of Papa John's Pizza, among other notable thought leaders.
