TechBA-SV at the World's Largest Conference for Entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley
SAN JOSE, Calif., May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- This May 14 and 15, TechBA-Silicon Valley (SV) will be the Silver Sponsor of TiEcon at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley. TiEcon 2010 (www.tiecon.org) is the largest entrepreneurial conference in the world.
This yearly event will engage a dynamic group of about 5000 participants including entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, industry executives, and thought leaders over two days of rich dialogue and activities.
TechBA, a business incubator program created by the Mexican Ministry of Economy and operated by the bi-national Mexico - United States Foundation for Science, has come into its own in the global tech business incubation arena. Its main purpose is to assist innovative companies that are looking to join the global market to create alliances with US and global companies that enrich both enterprises. In addition to the Silicon Valley offices, TechBA also has offices in Austin, Montreal, Madrid, Michigan, Seattle, Vancouver and Arizona.
For the last five years, TechBA-SV has been running its business acceleration program at its Silicon Valley campus to foster and incubate mostly Mexican tech companies, helping them succeed in the global economy. And so far it has been very successful at it. Since 2005, TechBA-SV has worked with some 250 companies in such varied fields as Information and Communication technologies, Aerospace and Automotive, Life Sciences, Multimedia, Educational Services, Biotech, Alternative Energies and Sustainable Technologies. In Silicon Valley, TechBA has developed strategic alliances with Silicom Ventures, Software Development Forum, US Market Access Center, Stanford University, and the Universities of San Francisco and San Jose.
"In the current economy, there is a need to create well paid and sustainable new jobs," explains Jorge Zavala, CEO of TechBA-SV. "When a company focuses on global markets, daring to be innovative looking for new ways to do business, getting invaluable experience, and building up a unique opportunity, then that company will become a role model for generations to come." And what better place to get that experience than in the Tech Capital of the world, Silicon Valley, which also allows those growing companies to establish measurements that are already proven in the real world by the current leaders.
Through its participation in TiEcon, TechBA-SV is looking to promote its portfolio of companies, which includes startups and established companies, and leverage their participation in TiEcon to establish new alliances between entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. Expansion, Alliance and Invest with TechBA-SV. Look for TechBA-SV's booth (#100) this coming May 14 and 15 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
