PEMCO Launches Redesigned Corporate and Community Websites And New Online Quote Tool

SEATTLE, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- PEMCO Insurance, Washington's largest locally based insurer, recently introduced a new set of tools on the company's websites designed to enhance visitors' experience and provide improved service to existing and potential customers.  

Earlier this year, PEMCO launched an online auto quote and insurance-purchasing tool on the company's recently redesigned corporate website, pemco.com. The tool allows users to receive a customized auto insurance quote and to purchase the quoted policy online.

"Our goal with these new online tools is to simplify the process of buying auto insurance," said David Kopetzky, PEMCO's e-commerce business manager.  "Our online quote tool is a superior intuitive solution that provides increased access to our auto products."

Users are guided through a series of straightforward steps and asked to provide basic information that helps the company determine the price of an auto insurance policy.  Based on this information, the online quote and purchase tool calculates a premium that's personalized and allows users to adjust coverages in real time to fit their needs. Users can buy a policy immediately online with a credit card or one-time check payment. The experience is simple and elegant, which helps PEMCO provide an online world-class customer experience unlike some of its competitors, said Kopetzky.

On the lighter side, PEMCO recently revised its community site, werealotlikeyou.com, which is home to the host of Northwest Profiles from the company's "We're A Lot Like You. A Little Different." advertising campaign.  Along with some fun new features, the site has been functionally enhanced to make content easily shared. Many visitors already have taken advantage of the more user-friendly site, and several original Northwest Profiles have emerged including "Social Media Mac-Obsessed Tweeting Guy," "First Time Crib Escaper," and "Broken Umbrella Commuter."

Visitors also can view a calendar of local events, watch and listen to the company's ads, learn about PEMCO's latest community involvement, and pinpoint where they spot notorious Northwest Profiles across Washington.
