CHICAGO, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- In its ongoing mission to provide unsurpassed education and implementation practice for operations executives and managers striving to improve profitability, Factory Physics Inc. will begin online training sessions in February.

For the first time ever, the company will deliver content from its renowned seminars online via WebEx.  Three modules have been scheduled for February:

Feb. 16, 3 PM EST

Strategic Framework

Feb. 19, 11 AM EST

Basic Factory Dynamics

Feb. 19, 2 PM EST

Inventory Management

Detailed information on these online offerings and registration can be found on the company's training website: www.factoryphysicsu.com.  Self-paced offerings of the same sessions will be available on Feb. 25.

In talking about the new online offering, Factory Physics COO Edward Pound said, "Popular initiatives such as Lean and Six Sigma have only had mixed success in spite of wide adaptation. We have shown that through practical, scientific understanding of the relationships between capacity, inventory, response time/cycle time and variability, executives and managers can accelerate their existing efforts and achieve unsurpassed performance results.

"While the online offering is not a substitute for our full seminar, one of our strategies for 2010 is to offer clients flexible training options to enable faster distribution of these vital concepts to a wider audience. The launch of the WebEx courses is a key component of our mission."

March Seminar

Dr. Mark Spearman, President of Factory Physics Inc., and Mr. Edward Pound will teach a 2-day seminar in Chicago, IL on March 24 and 25, 2010. In addition to covering important topics such as variability, capacity and cycle time, the seminar will include numerous simulations and hands-on case studies.  Seminar participants will learn powerful new concepts and tools for improving operations performance and profitability. The simulations and case studies will help translate the concepts to each participant's own business challenges. Detailed information on the content, location and registration for the seminar can be found on the company's website: www.factoryphysics.com.
