XBRL US to Conduct XBRL Filer Training Workshop in San Francisco on September 16, 2009

WASHINGTON, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- XBRL US, the national consortium for XML standards in business reporting and developers of the XBRL US GAAP Taxonomies, is conducting an in-person training workshop in San Francisco, CA on September 16, 2009 to educate preparers on how to create XBRL-formatted financial statements for mandatory submission to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This hands-on session will demonstrate how to use the XBRL US GAAP Taxonomies and how to convert primary financial statements and block tag footnotes in XBRL format.
All attendees will leave the workshop with a completed XBRL-formatted financial statement and a repeatable step-by-step guide. Preparers can register for the workshop at HASH(0x12d7370) .

XBRL US is the non-profit consortium for XML business reporting standards in the United States and is a jurisdiction of XBRL International. It represents the business information supply chain, including accounting firms, software companies, financial databases, financial printers and government agencies.
