VMD Wins USJFCOM Contract

VIENNA, Va., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- VMD Systems Integrators, Inc., a leading provider of strategic outsourcing and information technology services and solutions, announced it has won a contract from the United States Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) valued up to $21 million for 5 years to provide command-wide program administration, financial management and technical support services.

USJFCOM is one of the U.S. Department of Defense's 10 unified commands that works to protect security in the United States. It supports the nation's leaders in making informed choices on supporting operations, including assisting military commanders in identifying potential readiness problems and developing appropriate strategies. USJFCOM oversees more than 1.6 million individuals including personnel from each branch of the armed forces, civil servants, and contract employees.

Support for this contract will primarily be at USJFCOM's Norfolk and Suffolk, VA sites. Additional support is provided at the Pentagon and Ft. Eustis, VA. VMD teamed with Reston, VA-based Access Systems, Inc., the former incumbent on this contract.
