Pariveda Solutions Ranked Top 25 Best Place to Work in Dallas 2007 by the Dallas Business Journal
Jun 10, 2008 (08:06 AM EDT)

DALLAS, June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Pariveda Solutions ( http://www.parivedasolutions.com http://dallas.bizjournals.com ), a Dallas-based information services technology company, was named the "#24 Small Business" of the "Best Places to Work in Dallas" by the Dallas Business Journal ( ) at a recognition luncheon on Thursday, May 1st. At the ceremony recognizing the best small, mid-sized, and large companies to work for in the DFW Metroplex, Pariveda Solutions was acknowledged for their first nomination and award in this category.

In addition to being named one of the top-ranked small businesses to work for, Pariveda Solutions was also the #26 business in the "Best of the Best" ranking, which looks only to company score, not size. Pariveda scored a 94.9 on the rankings, which placed it at the top half of the "Best of the Best" listing. The company rankings were based in large part on employee surveys that determined engagement, or satisfaction, of employees, as well as on interviews with the company president, and additional company information. The Dallas Business Journal article featured Pariveda Solutions perks such as company trips and profit sharing while acknowledging the overall community service spirit of the company.

"I am proud to be a part of Pariveda Solutions and I am very happy this company was awarded this distinction," says Pam Tolbert, Pariveda employee. She adds, "We are a group of people working toward the common goal of helping each employee be the best they can be, for the benefit of our clients and ourselves."

CEO Bruce Ballengee stresses the importance of honesty, communication, and transparency when growing an organization organically. "All these promote trust, which enables strong relationships and reduce friction within the firm and outside Pariveda with partners, supplier and clients," says Ballengee as he sits in his cubicle like all other employees rather than some plush executive office that most CEOs are accustomed to.

This gesture alone walks the talk about servant leadership which is incorporated within the company's expectations framework. Servant leadership "is the highest role of the consultant in a client relationship, or the supervisor in a reporting relationship. The ancient root meaning of 'leader' in Old High German is to undergo, suffer or endure (to bear the pain)," Ballengee adds. "By adding the modifier of 'servant,' we are able to restore the modern understanding of the 'L' word to its original integrity."

The company is headquartered in Dallas, TX, with offices in major U.S. markets including Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Houston and Seattle. Opening an office in Los Angeles is planned for 2008.
