Xceedium Advisory Board Welcomes Seasoned Global Technology Sales and Alliance Expert Mark Vayda

JERSEY CITY, N.J., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Xceedium, a high growth company providing security and compliance solutions for privileged and external users, today announced that Mark Vayda, executive vice president of global sales at BearingPoint, has joined the Xceedium Advisory Board.
Mr. Vayda has over 25 years of management and executive experience in sales, marketing, consulting and partner program management. He currently oversees over $3 billion in revenue, serving the financial, government and commercial markets. His experience at BearingPoint, as well as his leadership roles at Oracle, Digital Equipment and Informix Software, bring a wealth of experience to support the global expansion and strategic development of Xceedium. The Xceedium Advisory Board will include a variety of leading enterprise, system integrator, security and compliance solutions executives from the government and commercial industries that provide specific expertise to help Xceedium build on its early successes and continue its growth paths.

As executive vice president of global sales, Mr. Vayda leads BearingPoint's worldwide professional sales force and the development of global sales strategies. Before being named to his current position in 2004, Mr. Vayda served as sales leader for BearingPoint's general business practice and previously as the company's global Oracle solution leader and segment leader for BearingPoint's utilities practice. Before joining BearingPoint in 2002, Mr. Vayda spent six years at Oracle Corporation, where he held various leadership roles, including group vice president of Oracle's communication and utility sales organization. Mr. Vayda has also held sales roles at several large hardware and software companies, including Digital Equipment and Informix Software.
