Jun 05, 2008 (06:06 AM EDT)
VALLEY STREAM, New York, June 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Energtek Inc. , world leader in the development of Adsorbed Natural Gas (ANG) technology, announced today that it has selected Yves Broux to serve as the Company's Lead Project Manager. Broux is an expert in the fields of NGV compression stations as well as gas cylinder and semi-trailer manufacturing.
Broux's hiring expands an already accomplished management team with a proven track record in automotive technology and manufacturing, led by Energtek's Chief Technology Officer, Professor Yuri Ginzburg. Ginzburg has over 20 years of experience managing the development and production of standard, off-road and military vehicles in the Former Soviet Union.
Energtek has recently signed commercial deals in the Philippines and India to develop complete Hi-Tech Natural Gas supply systems for fleets of small vehicles and industrial consumers, utilizing proprietary ANG technology. As Lead Project Manager, Broux will be responsible for the design and construction of Energtek's extensive international Natural Gas compression stations network. Broux will also manage the design and installation of Energtek's ANG cylinder quality assurance and maintenance facilities.
"Yves is among the top engineers worldwide in the development of complete Natural Gas fueling systems for motor vehicles," said Energtek CEO Lev Zaidenberg. "His dedication and vast experience producing essential elements of bulk gas transportation systems, including cylinders, semi-trailers and compression stations make him the perfect candidate to lead our project engineering efforts as we undertake the construction of Natural Gas supply systems across Southeast Asia. Yves' addition further strengthens an already outstanding team of managers and engineers."
Broux worked for 15 years at Ets Peters S.A. in France, where he served as a Plant Manager and Director of the Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV) Projects Division. As Plant Manager, Broux oversaw all aspects of assembly, testing, refurbishment and maintenance of gas cylinders and semi-trailers. As Director of the NGV Projects Division, Broux led the design and construction of 16 NGV filling stations in France.
"Since I first began working with NGV systems in 1996, my passion has been to advance NGV projects worldwide," said Broux. "Today, there are over 7 million NGVs on the road, a figure that grows by more than 30 percent annually. I believe that the commercial introduction of ANG technology will cause the number of NGVs to rise even more dramatically. I am excited and honored to be part of a team that seeks to convert millions of NGVs during the next few years."
Energtek develops and applies proprietary ANG technology to provide complete well-to-wheel pipeless Natural Gas supply solutions to large automotive and commercial consumers. Energtek's Natural Gas solutions reduce pollution and alleviate consumer energy costs, particularly within the large, growing market of low-income 2- and 3-wheel vehicle drivers in Asia. Energtek operates subsidiaries in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. To learn more about the benefits of ANG Technology, visit http://www.energtek.com
Adsorbed Natural Gas (ANG) technology enables hi-tech and cost-effective storage of Natural Gas, by maximizing the quantities of gas stored in a tank. ANG greatly reduces the infrastructure, fueling and energy costs of supply solutions to consumers where no pipeline or refueling infrastructure is present. ANG enables new markets of motor vehicle fleets and large commercial consumers to benefit from environmentally friendly-and affordable Natural Gas.
