Minggl Launches Social Interaction Manager
May 20, 2008 (08:05 AM EDT)

AUSTIN, Texas, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Minggl launches the beta version of the first of its kind social interaction manager. The Minggl toolbar makes it easy to manage information, communication, and navigation across social networks. Minggl disrupts the existing walled garden in which a single social site is the exclusive gatekeeper of content by bringing site activity to users no matter where they are on the web. It also enables users to filter out the noise and interact with only the friends of their choosing. In the furor that recently erupted when Facebook blocked Google from their service, influential blogger Robert Scoble wrote: "Minggl is a toolbar that does far more than what Google's Friend Connect does."

Minggl consists of a web browser toolbar and sidebar which can be downloaded for free at http://www.minggl.com . Minggl users attach their various social profiles such as Facebook and MySpace to a single Minggl account. From the Minggl account and toolbar, users are automatically signed into all their social sites and may quickly navigate across sites. The sidebar maintains a consolidated friends list from across social sites. This makes it possible for users to stay connected to mail, comments, and friend activity on their social sites no matter what site they are currently browsing.

According to Minggl CEO and Chief Disrupter Dewey Gaedcke, "Cool new social networking sites are being launched all the time, and without Minggl, there is no easy way for people to manage their navigation and friend interaction across communities. Nor is there an easy way to stay up to date on key events such as mail, comments, and friends' activity while browsing other sites like Google or Yahoo. So, we've broken down the borders to let people Minggl freely."
