Strong Incremental Distribution of the PRIVATE TV Channel in Latin America Announced by Private Media Group and PTVLA

BARCELONA, Spain and BUENOS AIRES, Argentina, March 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Private Media Group Inc. and Playboy TV Latin America announce the recent launch of the PRIVATE television channel with leading cable operators in Brazil, Argentina, Central America and the Caribbean, and a new Video-on-Demand service for South America available in Q2/08.

The launches on the following systems are a significant achievement in the rollout of the channel in Latin America:

-- In Brazil, on NET, the largest pay-television operator in Latin America. -- In Argentina, on Telecentro, one of the leading cable operators in the metropolitan region of Buenos Aires. -- In Central America and the Caribbean, on Telmex cable companies, primarily in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Republica Dominicana.

As a result of this expansion, a significant incremental subscriber base in Latin America will be able to buy the PRIVATE channel. In addition to these launches, a new PRIVATE Video-on-Demand service will be introduced in the region this year.
