Pacific Continental Recognized as Top Ranked Financial Institution

EUGENE, Ore., Feb. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pacific Continental Corporation , the bank holding company for Pacific Continental Bank, today announced that it was recognized by Oregon Business magazine as the top-ranked financial institution in the publication's annual survey of Top 100 Best Companies to Work For. Statewide, more than 25,000 employees from 312 Oregon-based companies participated in this year's 100 Best survey. Pacific Continental's 11th place ranking within its size category marks the eighth consecutive year Oregon Business magazine has recognized Pacific Continental for its excellence in workplace practices.
For the second consecutive year, Pacific Continental was included in the large company category which recognizes businesses with 250 or more employees. Pacific Continental's 11th place ranking was the highest level for any financial institution in both the small and large company categories. In 2004, Oregon Business magazine ranked Pacific Continental as the #1 Oregon company to work for within the small business category.
