Circos Launches Love Hotel Application on Facebook
Feb 20, 2008 (10:02 AM EST)

SAN MATEO, Calif., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Circos ( ), the 'me-centric(TM)' semantic search engine, today released the Circos Love Hotel ( ), a Facebook ( )application where users can send each other funny room service gifts like a French Maid or Serenading Violinist, and upgrade friends' rooms to ocean views or Louis Vuitton suites.

Internet search should be all about you. Circos uses your existing online persona and known preferences to create a personalized guide of answers that match your own sentiments. By interacting with the Love Hotel application, Facebook users imply their preferences for hotels and restaurants. Circos can then proactively offer them customized recommendations based on whom they are instead of what search terms they use. For instance, a self-professed film buff who prefers the downtown nightlife might be offered hip, centrally located hotels with flat-screen TVs, while a boutique hotel spa package is suggested to the person whose favorite pastime is meditation.

"At the highest level, Circos is about who you already are on the Net," said Morris Sim, a founder of Circos. "More than 64 million ( ) people are interacting with their friends on Facebook, and by understanding who you are when you search, we not only increase the relevance of results, but make the experience effortless by returning answers without needing you to explicitly say what you want."

The Circos Love Hotel application is available now. To add it to your Facebook profile, visit Circos plans to launch additional applications on Facebook and other online communities and social networks in the coming months.
