Dex Revs the Engines as Sponsor at Rolex 24 at Daytona

CARY, N.C., Jan. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- After recently driving the nationwide rollout of DexKnows.com(TM), a comprehensive, feature-rich local search site, Dex maintained its pole position today by announcing that it will sponsor the Bullet Racing team at this weekend's Rolex 24 at Daytona. The team's Porsche GT3 racecar and team members' helmets and racing suits will prominently display the logo for DexKnows.com.

DexKnows.com, already the leading local search site in Dex's western markets(1), was recently enhanced by adding content from Dex's 500+ markets throughout 28 states. DexKnows.com is fueled by content from Dex's print Yellow Pages directories, making it easier for users to be able to quickly find comprehensive information about local businesses. Site features include comparison shopping, ratings and reviews, itinerary planning, general business listing information and more.

The Bullet Racing team is comprised of four members, including Dex(R) Local Marketing Consultant Dyrk Van Zanten Jr. Van Zanten and team will be competing against drivers from all over the world to see who can complete the most laps during a 24 hour period. Scheduled to compete at this year's race are well-known personalities such as NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson, Indy car driver and Dancing with the Stars champion Helio Castroneves, and Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey.

The Rolex 24 at Daytona will take place January 26 - 27 and will be broadcast on the Fox Sports Network and the SPEED cable network.
