Mars Selects Unicast Premium Rich Media to Launch 'Happiness with Whiskas' Interactive Marketing Campaign in Europe

NEW YORK, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Unicast, a division of Enliven Marketing Technologies , a leading Internet marketing technology company, today announced the launch of a new rich media ad campaign for MARS Whiskas cat food brand. Unicast has leveraged its proprietary HD3D technology to create and deliver unique, interactive ads that allow customers to post and share their own home videos depicting their "Happiness with Whiskas" moments with their cats. The interactive Whiskas ads connect users to a customized Whiskas website that features the new "Happy Together" community for cat- lovers. The Whiskas Unicast campaign includes a rich media banner that expands to launch a 3D video player shaped like the Whiskas signature "cat head", which contains with videos sent in by customers that are passionate about their cats. The goal of the Whiskas campaign is brand engagement, allowing customers to take part in a collective conversation where they can share the precious moments they have experienced with their cats. The Unicast Premium Rich Media ads have run on multiple publisher properties across France, delivering millions of impressions for the Whiskas brand.

The Whiskas ads allow viewing and sharing of video clips, and also direct visitors to the Whiskas "Happy Together" community, which was developed by MARS as a way for cat-lovers in France to build personal web pages for their beloved pets. The concept is to give ardent cat-lovers the ability to share and express their love for their cats among friends online. The community allows anyone to register their pet with personal identity features as would be found on Facebook or MySpace pages. Each cat's personalized web site shows all the "happy cat" moments that cat-lovers cherish. Users can also post updates, write short stories and post them to the site.
