VMware Wins Desktop Virtualization Technology of the Year Award

PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VMware Workstation 6 has won InfoWorld's 2008 Technology of the Year Award for desktop virtualization. Winners were announced earlier this week on the InfoWorld site: http://www.infoworld.com/archives/t.jsp?N=s&V=94327 .

InfoWorld's Technology of the Year Awards are not open to outside nominations. Winners are drawn from all of the products tested during the past year, with the final selections made by InfoWorld's Test Center staff.
