Marc Ecko Enterprises Launches Web Store on GSI Commerce Platform; Enhanced Online Shopping Experience Awaits Fans of the Familiar Rhino Icon

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - GSI Commerce Inc. www.ShopEcko.com , a leading provider of e-commerce solutions, today announced that New York-based, Marc Ecko Enterprises, an innovative, global fashion and lifestyle company, recently launched its new Web store ( ) on GSI's e-commerce platform.
The online store features Ecko Unlimited products that sport the familiar rhino icon of the ecko unltd.(R) brand and showcases men's hats, hoodies, jeans, polos, knit tops, woven shirts, jackets and watches. The new store also features women's dresses, skirts, tops, bottoms, hoodies, jackets and watches that are marketed under the Red by Marc Ecko(R) brand. Additionally, the Web store offers the contemporary menswear line of the Marc Ecko Cut and Sew(R) brand. Three additional Marc Ecko Enterprise brands are expected to be added soon to the online store that include the G-Unit(R) clothing line, a collaboration between Marc Ecko Enterprises and rap artist 50 Cent; Zoo York(R), an action sports company; and Avirex(R) Sportswear.
The Web store features alternative views and enhanced product images, which provide customers with multiple and detailed views of products. The store incorporates GSI's Web 2.0-based, mini-cart(SM) shopping functionality, which automatically provides a quick and convenient verification of items added to the shopping cart. Customers also have convenient access to view videos produced by ecko TV while shopping.

The company, established in 1993 by designer Marc Ecko, has strong roots in youth culture. Ecko Unlimited has sold products online since 1999, but selected the GSI Commerce platform to help raise the online presence and sales of Marc Ecko branded products and more fully engage its customer base with a richer, more interactive online experience of the brand. Marc Ecko Enterprises was previously referred to by GSI as the unnamed apparel partner that was signed to an e-commerce agreement during 2006. The solution provided by GSI includes technology, fulfillment and customer care.
