TARGUSinfo adds VoiceStar, Leading Provider of Pay-Per-Phone-Call Advertising Services

VIENNA, Va., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- TARGUSinfo today announced that VoiceStar has selected On-Demand Identification(SM) services from TARGUSinfo to help maximize the impact of VoiceStar's pay-per-phone-call marketing programs.

Pay-per-phone-call is a fast-growing online advertising method based on the same principles as pay-per-click. Instead of paying for Web visits, however, advertisers pay for phone calls triggered by their online advertisements. Pay-per-phone-call is increasingly popular among local service companies that don't have an e-commerce Web site or any Web site at all.

VoiceStar, a Philadelphia-based pay-per-phone-call leader, is using TARGUSinfo services to enhance call-reporting data with consumer contact information. As a result, agents receive a verified name for each consumer inquiry before the call is connected. The TARGUSinfo data services also supply postal addresses that advertisers use in follow-up marketing campaigns.
