Pinellas County Improves Customer Service and Efficiency with Global 360
Oct 29, 2007 (10:10 AM EDT)
DALLAS, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Global 360, a leading provider of business process management (BPM) and optimization solutions, today announced Pinellas County, the most densely populated county in the state of Florida, has implemented Global 360's BPM suite to manage effectively the County's information collecting and sharing process in its Official Records, Traffic and Probate organizations.
Due to steady population growth, Pinellas County recognized the need to implement a process management system to maintain, store and process more effectively increasing volumes of data within several County departments. By integrating Global 360's technology with a variety of new and legacy applications, documentation of all types is now digitally processed, empowering County officials to reallocate the time previously spent conducting manual processes to other divisions where help is needed.
"In the past, thousands of hours each year were spent manually inputting information into our records systems," said Ken Burke, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Pinellas County. "Our ability to integrate effectively a variety of applications with Global 360's solution has not only saved our organization a considerable about of time and labor, it has also enabled us to leverage our existing investments to the fullest. From a police officers patrol car to the County Clerk's office and courtroom, Global 360's business process management technology has fundamentally changed the way we serve our constituents."
The use of BPM technology enables County officials and citizens alike to access information without the need to spend hours searching through paper documentation or days waiting for an inquiry response. Public records are available to citizens from the comfort of their homes, allowing individuals to avoid traveling to County offices and waiting in line to retrieve paperwork. The user-friendly process management system also addresses potential discrepancies between offices, allowing officials to request missing information and prevent time-consuming searches.
"Local, state and federal government agencies are challenged to process increasing amounts of data at a faster pace than ever before," says Jim Sinur, chief strategy officer of Global 360. "Global 360 technology brings together the best of business process management and repository technologies to eliminate time-consuming data entry, retrieval and processing methods to help organizations like Pinellas County better position themselves for future growth and progress."
