Rosum Signs Collaboration Agreement With Intel to Enable TV-Location Detection On Mobile Devices

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Rosum Corporation, a leader in broadcast TV signal based location detection technology, announced today that it has signed a licensing and joint development agreement with Intel Corporation to enable indoor/outdoor TV-location detection capability for mobile devices. As part of this agreement the two companies have agreed to cooperate in the development, marketing and distribution of these future products to customers developing a wide range of terrestrial and mobile TV devices worldwide.

As part of this agreement, Rosum has licensed certain TV-location technologies to Intel and will co-develop future products targeted for mobile platforms. The companies have also agreed to jointly market and distribute these products globally for use in mobile internet devices, mobile phones, handheld consumer devices and other similar devices.
