JDSU Showcases Industry's Most Comprehensive Metro Ethernet Test Portfolio

MILPITAS, Calif., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- For the next two months at exhibitions throughout North America and Europe, JDSU will display continually expanding capabilities for the industry's most complete Metro Ethernet test portfolio, including several new products addressing one of the industry's fastest-growing technologies. JDSU's portfolio of products enables manufacturers and service providers to address testing and service assurance challenges throughout the Metro Ethernet lifecycle.

JDSU's Metro Ethernet portfolio will be exhibited at the following shows through November 2007: Light Reading Optical Expo 2007, Dallas, October 2-3 (booth 303); Broadband World Forum Europe 2007, Berlin, October 8-11 (booth 1010); Light Reading Ethernet Expo, New York, October 15-17 (booth 416); and Light Reading's The Future of Carrier-Class Ethernet, Warsaw, November 29.

Carrier-grade Metro Ethernet networks are emerging as key components in the delivery of next-generation Ethernet-based business and consumer services (such as triple-play). These networks facilitate service aggregation and work in concert with methodologies that provide common QoS, traffic engineering, redundancy and scalability across the service infrastructure.
