ClearApp Announces Strong Sales Growth in Second Quarter; Continues Customer Momentum Across All Sectors
Sep 18, 2007 (08:09 AM EDT)
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearApp, the only company providing comprehensive application service management (ASM) for J2EE-based composite applications, today announced that it more than doubled its second quarter revenue year-over-year, posting 107% growth in its fiscal second quarter 2008, signing numerous deployments of QuickVision with both new and existing customers across a diverse range of vertical markets. In FY Q2 2008, ClearApp added or expanded relationships with Abbott, Delta Dental, Ingram Micro, Swift Transportation, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Weil, Gotshal, and Manges, LLC, among others.
"Expanding existing customer relationships with customers like the CDC and Weil and establishing new ones with companies like Delta Dental made Q2 an exceptional period of growth for ClearApp," said Jason Donahue, president and CEO of ClearApp, Inc. "This quarter's growth demonstrates an unwavering demand for technology that provides the necessary visibility and business-level context required to maximize application service levels and attain the requisite ROI from existing IT investments. In addition, our new subscription-based pricing model allows customers to reduce their up-front investment by as much as 90 percent in a model that shares risk more than traditional systems management companies have historically been willing to do."
Following on the heels of the recent ClearApp QuickVision 7 launch, the second quarter saw ClearApp announcing integration of QuickVision with IBM Tivoli Change and Configuration Management Database (CCMDB), expanding relationships with key partners including Ascendant Technology, and being named an emerging technology vendor by CRN magazine.
ClearApp also introduced a subscription licensing program, ClearApp QuickValue, which benefits customers by allowing them to immediately take advantage of ClearApp QuickVision at a much lower price point than traditional perpetual license pricing. The up-front investment is around 90 percent less for customers under this model. Other benefits include instant value from QuickVision; additional savings on ClearApp professional services; credits to perpetual license purchase; and mitigated financial risk, allowing customers to pay only for current needs and use.
"As one of the largest not-for-profit dental benefits provider in the United States, ClearApp's subscription pricing model really suits our business requirements," said Brenda Laird, Director of Application Development and System Support, Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. "It quickly allowed us to address our immediate application service management requirements at a lower price point than a traditional licensing model -- which in turn will provide greater ROI and ensure our organization meets the needs of our 6.2 million enrollees."
