TIBCO Named a Leader Among Human-Centric BPM Suites for Banking and Investments by Independent Research Firm

PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TIBCO Software Inc. today announced that Forrester Research, Inc. has named TIBCO as a leader in its August 2007 evaluation, "The Forrester Wave(TM): Human-Centric BPMS For Banking and Investments, Q3 2007." Forrester evaluated 11 leading human-centric business process management suite (BPMS) vendors with a financial services focus across 17 criteria, placing TIBCO in the leader category.

In the Forrester Wave report, TIBCO was recognized for having "the professional services expertise to really understand the customer base" and was also noted as having "a very large base of investment customers, supporting its expertise in the industry, as well as a very high number of new FSI customers and customers upgrading their existing systems." Additionally, the report highlights TIBCO's experience with BPM centers of excellence (COE), noting "one of the best ways to work across organizational silos with BPM is to use COEs, and TIBCO has a very strong COE professional services offering."
